What I have learned in English 110 is the significant importance of the revision process. There are some skills that I hope to carry on with me outside of this class. One of my favorite revision strategies was feeling a connection to my texts. The way I always feel a connection is by free writing. While it makes me feel relaxed, it also helps me focus and narrow down what I really want to write about. It gets my brain thinking about all of the ideas running through my head. Along with this, I also enjoy peer review a lot. I like to have different perspectives from others and a pair of fresh eyes to read my writing. This way can help me catch errors more quickly as well as have insightful feedback on what they like and what ways I can improve. This also helps narrow down some of my main ideas that will help me better understand my own writing.
