In this article, “The Future of Science… Is Art?” by Jonah Lehrer, gives a compelling argument of how integrating art into the sciences is essential for overall success. He goes in depth about how there are so many dead ends in science and how we need to expand on our knowledge. However, this is not possible without incorporating some kind of artistic component into it. He sets up this scenario using metaphors and comparisons to certain situations of science failing. He also points out how science is our future but the basic scientific method is not going to get us to the end every time, then goes into detail about the benefits of having art involved with science as a whole.
